Let's Visit Janine's Store, Country Mouse!

Happy Friday, everyone! Hope every one had a great week.

I wanted to learn more about Janine's store, Country Mouse, and once again, she was gracious enough to take some time out to give me some information about it.

Country Mouse is a children's fashion store located at 570 Forest Avenue, in Staten Island. Janine explained that it has been in business for 40 years and that she bought it six years ago. She owns it with no other partners and bought it out of her love for kids and fashion.

While the Country Mouse has always been a traditional children's clothing store, Janine said she brought a more modern twist to it and is constantly updating the look.

Country Mouse has many unique Communion dresses. The store has several "trunk shows" in order to showcase the upcoming season's new dresses for that occasion. The trunk shows are over for the new season's dresses, but you can always call the store for more information.

You can get so much more at Country Mouse. I was surprised at all the variety. Janine explained that she goes to children's clothing shows that occur four times a year in New York City to see the latest fashions and styles in kids' clothing. However, also in her inventory are custom made clothes as well. Wherever the items come from, some of the items can't be found anywhere but the Country Mouse. Take a look:

One last thing that I think should be known...Janine may own the store, but she still works there as well. So, swing on by and say hello and enjoy seeing all Country Mouse has to offer.

Once again, as always, thanks to Janine! Enjoy your weekend, everyone!
